JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Location:Kempton Park

Description

Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, efficiency, and lost opportunities for reporting and record keeping purposes in excel
Check orders for data quality and completeness
Schedule orders against outstanding purchase orders
Ensure right usage of criticality codes of transportation
Monitor order fulfilment
Expedite urgent orders
Daily communication with sales and third-party logistics providers
Plan and execute shipping and delivery between contract manufacturing operations, packaging sites, and customers
Optimising material flow throughout the plant site
General administration filing, queries, claims, checking costs in accordance with departmental requirements

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree / in Commerce / Supply Chain or related qualification
Minimum of 3 years'' logistics planning experience
Working knowledge of route planning
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and ERP Systems
