POSITION INFO:

My client a leading and well know manufacturing comapny based in Germiston requires a competent and experienced Logistics Manager to join their team.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Ops Management or Logistics –Essential

3 - 4 years’ Experience in a similar position – Not Negotiable

Working experience in Logistics or Warehousing

People management experience

Excellent computer skills

Analytical thinking skills

Good Interpersonal & Communication skills

Customer service exposure

Reliable transport

Willing to relocate within Gauteng (very important)

Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)

SA Citizens only

Must be Criminal Clear

Responsibilities: 

Control the receiving of finished good stock into the warehouse

Ensure accurate and timeous picking/loading of stock to ensure customer satisfaction

Handle Key accounts, internal and external customer management

Source contracting and arranging cost effective transport

Take responsibility for the timeous provision of raw material to the factory

Effective management of both the Department and the Warehouse staff while ensuring adherence to the company’s HSHE standards

Keep up to date with the processing and filing of all stock-related documentation

Flexibility, ability to work the occasional late night and over weekends if/when needed

Ability to deal with complexity and multi-task within the position
