Logistics Manager

Role Outputs/Key Accountabilities:

Develop and implement the site Logistics strategy.

• Manage the internal material movement systems; ensure stock governance compliances, IT system compliances, and procedural adherences.
• Improve process efficiencies through provision of appropriate leadership, support structures, resources and decision-making.
  • Assist with audits and drive implementation of audit recommendation

Customer satisfaction

• Improve internal and external customer satisfaction by providing material and finished goods stock deliveries on time and in full
• Improve quality of deliveries to both internal and external customers.

• Cost effective negotiations

Governance and Compliance

• Improve and Sustain equipment conditions and warehouse governance standards through 5S standards and legal compliances
• Improve FIFO systems by enhancing warehouse  layouts and report analysis on ageing
• Ensure high level of stock accuracy

• Ensure warehouse stacking, equipment  and  handling practices are consistently monitored
• Active involvement in reducing slow moving stock

• 5 Years on logistics, procurement and supply chain management within a production environment
• Packaging and returnable packaging management
• Distribution management
• Coaching and mentoring
• Managing contract and third parties
• Cost saving initiatives
