Logistics Coordinator/Planner (Junior position)

Our client is a well established company whom specializes in the Defense industry. They are expanding and is looking for a Junior Logistics Coordinator/Planner to join their team.

Area: Centurion (Gauteng)

Salary: Market related (Depending on experience)

Requirements:

• Grade 12;
• Own vehicle and valid license;
• Logistics qualification;
• Experience in the defense industry will be a bonus;
• Well presented;
• Good communication Skills.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations;
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively;
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures;
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs;
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction;
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements;
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.;
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
