SUMMARY:
Fruit export Company is currently seeking to employ a Logistics Coordinator to join their successful team.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12
B. Comm Logistics / Supply Chain Management
2 years’ experience as Junior Logistics Coordinator or Stock Coordinator
Thorough knowledge of product/pallet coding structures and cold store stock management processes
Thorough knowledge of fruit industry stock/logistics management systems such as QX/BC365. Able to book, allocate stock, issue loading instructions, and confirm MR information in system
Thorough knowledge of export requirements and protocols
Thorough knowledge of shipping lines services/schedules in areas of operational
Basic knowledge of the export cost chain and ability to optimize service/cost for clients while maximizing company margins
Good communication and influence skills

Duties will include, but aren’t limited to:

Logistics Operations
Data management and capturing
Documentation distribution and collation
System maintenance
Forecast
Cost Management
Weekly reporting
