SUMMARY:
Manufacturing Company based in Brackenfell is looking for a proactive and organised Logistics Coordinator to join their team!

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating and monitoring of supply chain operations by ensuring a smooth process and effective distribution of products. You will facilitate communication between production, sales, and delivery stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Tertiary Qualification in Logistics Management or similar.
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
Ability to meet changing deadlines and solve problems promptly.

Responsibilities:

Manage the logistics team to ensure optimal performance through evaluations.
Install improvement initiatives to contribute to skills development.
Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of stock.
Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
Reviewing purchase orders and delivery documents to ensure accuracy.
Making special delivery arrangements as necessary.
Tracking and fixing delivery errors.
Preparing invoices.
Managing distribution and delivery budgets.
Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
