Logistics Administrator Lone Hill

Import client of our based in Lone Hill, Johannesburg is looking for a Logistics Administration / Junior Logistics Administrator with 1-3 years Experience. Must be well organised and willing to learn. Must have a passion for Import or Exports.

Salary: Market Related

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
Logistics or similar qualifications will be an advantage.
1-3 years experience as Administrator / Logistics Administrator

Key Duties:

Complete PO’s as the orders are placed.
Ensure that orders are placed with either a local - or international supplier.
Track the orders with the suppliers, if local, get delivery times to communicate to our clients. If international get estimate date of the ship arriving in SA.
Capture Creditor’s invoices when they become due as the cargo is delivered and or shipped.
Work together with our Forward and Clearing company to track the clearing of shipments as they come in.
Anticipate the road transport that is now required and start to plan it.
