Logistics Administrator Lone Hill

 

Import client of our based in Lone Hill, Johannesburg is looking for a Logistics Administration / Junior Logistics Administrator with 1-3 years Experience. Must be well organised and willing to learn. Must have a passion for Import or Exports.

 

Salary: Market Related

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Logistics or similar qualifications will be an advantage.  
  • 1-3 years experience as Administrator / Logistics Administrator

 

Key Duties:

  • Complete PO’s as the orders are placed.
  • Ensure that orders are placed with either a local - or international supplier.  
  • Track the orders with the suppliers, if local, get delivery times to communicate to our clients. If international get estimate date of the ship arriving in SA.
  • Capture Creditor’s invoices when they become due as the cargo is delivered and or shipped.  
  • Work together with our Forward and Clearing company to track the clearing of shipments as they come in.  
  • Anticipate the road transport that is now required and start to plan it.
