JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a winery in the Boland / Overberg region, is looking for a Logistics Administrator.

Responsibilities:

Manufacturing logistics:

  • Coordination of movement of dry stock and ingredients for manufacturing.
  • Movement of final product to warehouse or destination.
  • Order of dry stock and ingredients.

Stocktaking:

  • Stocktaking and reports weekly.

Merchandise orders and stock keeping:

  • Order of merchandise and quality check of merchandise on arrival.
  • Stock keeping.

Courier relations plus packaging and despatch management:

  • Help secure proper packaging and order in box checks.
  • Despatch administration of everything leaving the storeroom.
  • All courier relations; national and international.

Other:

  • Email database management and marketing administration.
  • Manage administration of online sales.
  • Some general enquiries and administration.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal).
  • Driver’s license.
  • Computer skilled (MS Office, Internet).
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp will be beneficial.
  • Good communication skills.

Area: Boland / Overberg region.

Starting date: As soon as possible.

Salary package: R15 000 – R17 000 per month.
