Local Logistics Coordinator

SUMMARY:
A Local Logistics Coordinator is required at an FMCG company based in Port Elizabeth.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric
- Logistics qualification advantageous
- Computer literate (proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite)
- Administrative experience advantageous
- Syspro experience advantageous

Main Duties/Key Results Areas:
- Dealing with transporters (booking trucks)
- Dealing with releases from sales (loading trucks)
- Sending releases to cold stores (transfers & invoices to clients)
- Sending transport releases to cold stores
- Attending Stock meetings
- Filling trucks (part loads) – communicating with sales & LLT.
- Check reports for small quantities, damaged and expired stock and arrange to transfer
- Transport PO’s
