SUMMARY:
Our client in the FMCG sector seeks to employ a Local Logistics Coordinator to join their Logistics department. This role reports to the Local Logistics Manager.
POSITION INFO:
Main Duties/Key Results Areas:
- Dealing with transporters (booking trucks)
- Dealing with releases from sales (loading trucks)
- Sending releases to cold stores (transfers & invoices to clients)
- Sending transport releases to cold stores
- Attending Stock meetings
- Filling trucks (part loads)
– Communicating with sales & LLT
- Check reports for small quantities, damaged and expired stock and arrange to transfer
- Transport PO’s
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric
- Logistics qualification advantageous
- Computer literate (proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite)
- Administrative experience advantageous
- Syspro experience advantageous
- Positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently while being a team player
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent organisational skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic
