A private household in Sunningdale, Cape Town is looking for a reliable, trustworthy and hardworking Live-In Helper / Housekeeper to join the household on a long-term basis.
The successful candidate must be able to speak Portuguese and should take pride in maintaining a clean, organised and well-kept home. This position would suit someone who is dependable, respectful, hardworking and comfortable working within a family environment.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- General household cleaning and housekeeping
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
- Maintaining a neat and organised home
- Assisting with laundry and general household duties
- Keeping household areas clean and hygienic
- Taking good care of household items and belongings
- Assisting with other reasonable household tasks as required
Minimum Requirements- Must be able to speak Portuguese
- Previous experience as a Domestic Helper, Housekeeper, Cleaner or similar
- Good cleaning and housekeeping skills
- Reliable, honest and trustworthy
- Good personal hygiene
- Strong attention to detail
- Respectful and comfortable working within a private family home
- Able and willing to live on the premises
- Contactable references advantageous
- Looking for stable, long-term employment
