We are looking for an experienced Linux Support Engineer to join a strong team that through innovation provides solutions to the IT industry focusing on various aspects around Monitoring, IT Management, Hosting, Cloud Services, Content Management and Security.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description
Experienced Linux support engineer required to manage servers and network infrastructure. With
primary focus on Web Server, Database Server and firewall configuration. Individual will also be
expected to be familiar with php and possess the knowledge to completely setup a production
LAMP stack. The role also includes managing regular backups of various web applications and
databases as well as assisting users with technical queries regarding the systems.
Candidate must be able to complete setup a Production ready LAMP stack from bare metal.
Job will also entail supporting Unifi wireless network, configuration and support.

Requirements

3-5 Years Linux Experience (Preference given to Red Hat based distros) .
Networking experience
PHP experience.
Firewall Experience, Endian, IP Tables, Fortinet.
Webserver experience, Apache and NginX.
Bash Scripting.
Database management experience, Postgres and MySQL/MariaDB.
Moodle Experience
Docker experience.

Nice to Have

Git experience.
Python experience
Windows System Administration Experience .
Watchguard firewall Experience.
