SUMMARY:

Role Overview:

Our client, an innovative IT solutions services provider focusing on various aspects around Monitoring, IT Management, Hosting, Cloud Services, Content Management, and Security is on the hunt for an Experienced Linux support engineer required to manage servers and network infrastructure. With the primary focus on Web Server, Database Server, and firewall configuration. The individual will also be expected to be familiar with PHP and possess the knowledge to completely set up a production LAMP stack. The role also includes managing regular backups of various web applications and databases as well as assisting users with technical queries regarding the systems.

The candidate must be able to complete the setup of a Production-ready LAMP stack from bare metal. This role will also entail supporting Unifi wireless network, configuration, and support.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

3-5 Years Linux Experience (Preference given to Red Hat based distros) .
Networking experience
PHP experience.
Firewall Experience, Endian, IP Tables, Fortinet.
Webserver experience, Apache and NginX.
Bash Scripting.
Database management experience, Postgres and MySQL/MariaDB.
Moodle Experience
Docker experience.
Git experience. (Desirable)
Python experience. (Desirable)
Windows System Administration Experience. (Desirable)
Watchguard firewall Experience. (Desirable)
