Line Operator - Junior Millwright - Johannesburg

• Matric (Standard 10) or recognized equivalent qualification
• Relevant Trade as a Millwright is essential
• Numeracy, Literacy and technical aptitude assessment (60% pass mark)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Manufacturing / production related facility.
• Must understand LEAN principles, and have mechanical engineering expertise.
• Exposure in manufacturing environment, limited-slip differential, small surface depression
• Exposure to world class manufacturing techniques like Lean Manufacturing would be an added advantage
• Located in Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging or surrounding areas in the Sedibeng Area
• Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing to external and internal customers

Duties:

• Effective time management skills to ensure production is released on time and in full to the receiving

department.

• Team player, Self-motivated, Proactive, and showing initiative at all levels.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve problems with minimum support
• Following all the company’s safety rules and policies.
• Wearing safety equipment and PPE.
• Reporting all dangerous or unsafe behavior to the supervisor or the manager.
• Never to engage in any unsafe act.
