Life Sciences Sales Representative

Duties:

• Execute an own quota of Life Science order bookings for South Africa by:
  • Finding new customers in clinical and industrial settings.
  • Contributing to marketing activities such as advertisements and mailings.
  • Qualifying potential sales.
  • Arranging and hosting customer demonstrations.
  • Generate quotations
  • Handle relevant SA tendering processes.
  • Manage public and private tender submissions.
  • Negotiate pricing in collaboration with the parent factory and management and close deals with customers.
• Manage the Life Science sales in South Africa as a sales representative:
  • Ensure constant growth
  • Responsible for managing and driving the annual business plan
• Arrange Exhibitions and Seminars at conferences in the territory.
• Maintain a relationship with existing customers.
• Market analysis.

Requirements:

• BSc or equivalent in Microbiology, Life or Analytical Science with some postgraduate experience, either in diagnostics or industry.
• Current valid driving license.
• Valid passport.
• Competencies in Analytical technologies and Sales is required
• An understanding of microbiology and diagnostics.
• Must be fluent in English
