SUMMARY:
B.Com LLB qualified, with 3 years minimal post admittance experience as both a legal and a compliance officer, within a compliance and commercial law environment/s.

POSITION INFO:

Remuneration package:  market related  to experience

Our esteemed national client, has created a new role within their organisation, for an experienced B.Com LLB qualified, admitted attorney, who has both legal officer and compliance officer experience.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• · B.Com LLB 
•   Admitted attorney
• · With at least 3 years post admittance experience.
• · Must have experience in compliance and commercial law (beneficial if also experienced in drafting of contracts, Consumer Protection Law, Intellectual Property Law, Labor Law and/or Property Law)

• Compliance and regulatory matters
• Onboarding of new service providers and suppliers
• Review of agreements
• Drafting of contracts, correspondence and giving opinions
• Providing general legal advice
• Recoveries
• Liaising with external advisors
• Record management
• Preferably able to assist with achieving the organisation''s B-BBEE goals.

• Required Languages: Advanced English and Afrikaans.
• Software program knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint & MS Teams.
