SUMMARY:
Our client, a global competitor in the FMCG sector, seeks to employ a Legal Clerk to fulfill a supportive role to the Group Legal and Compliance Officer and Directors, based in City Deep.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:
  • To know and implement the customer onboarding process
  • Liaise with and assist customers with the onboarding process
  • Collate, compile and vet trade account applications together with supporting documents and transmit same to the Legal Department liaison at Head Office in Gqeberha
  • Attend to daily follow-ups on outstanding requirements and documentation
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, forms and documents
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Assist with the updating of paperwork/spreadsheets
  • Assist with the receipt, delivery and accessibility of legal documents
  • Safekeeping of official records and legal documents
  • Assist with scanning and filing of paperwork
  • Performing general office duties and errands as may be required

Requirements:
  • Matric
  • At least 2 Years' relevant experience in a similar position
  • Relevant Legal qualification/diploma advantageous
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suit and Excel
  • Own vehicle and willing to travel
