SUMMARY:
Sandton based corporate company, requires a post article, qualified attorney, who in addition has corporate/commercial experience of 3-5 years.

POSITION INFO:

Remuneration package: market related to experience

Our reputable international client, has created a new role within their organisation, for an experienced B.Com LLB qualified, admitted attorney; who has both legal advisor and compliance officer experience.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· B.Com LLB
Admitted attorney
· In addition, has at least 3 -5 years post admittance corporate experience.
· in compliance and commercial law
Drafting of contracts
Including experienced in Consumer Protection Law, Intellectual Property, POPIA Act, etc

RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE:

Compliance and regulatory matters
Review of agreements
Drafting of contracts, correspondence and giving opinions
Providing general legal advice
Recoveries
Liaising with external advisors
Record management

Required Languages: Advanced English and Afrikaans.
Software program knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint & MS Teams.
