Legal Administrator

To provide legal and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner. They conduct greet visitors, answer phones, communicate with solicitors, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, manage schedules and run general administration for the office.

What does a legal administrator do?

Typical job responsibilities for a legal administrator might include: 

  • Transcribing and proofreading legal documents
  • Filing, organising, scanning, copying and faxing legal documents
  • Drafting of legal documents and contracts
  • Organising solicitor schedules e.g. travel arrangements, meetings

  • Being highly organised and efficient
  • The ability to be professional
  • The ability to work in a team and alone
  • Strong sense of discretion
