To teach Curriculum Studies at undergraduate and post graduate level.

To contribute to Faculty administration as required.

• Participate in faculty administration

• Facilitation of learning
• Facilitation of teaching students Curriculum Studies at undergraduate and post graduate studies.
• A sound knowledge of strategies for assessing learning in Curriculum Studies
• Ability to adapt teaching of Curriculum Studies to the diversity of interests and aptitudes of students
• Active presentation of research papers at conferences
• Conducting scholarly work with an increasing focus on Africanisation and decolonization of Curriculum Studies

REQUIREMENTS

• PHD degree in Education or equivalent for Senior Lecturer
• M Ed or equivalent for Lecturer
• Experience in teaching education related content as well as Curriculum Studies at the university will be an added advantage.
• A sound disciplinary and content knowledge in education related modules or curriculum studies

• Possession of academic qualifications in education related field or curriculum studies
• Experience in supervising or co-supervising students at post graduate level for Senior Lecturer
• Proven research record for Senior Lecturer
