To facilitate and administer the learning process for students in Tourism modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. To conduct/publish research and supervise postgraduate students. Involvement in engagement and to undertake administration in line with the core functions and values of the university.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be considered for appointment to a Senior Lecturer post, the potential candidate must have a relevant Doctoral degree with discipline-specific knowledge in Tourism and 1-5 years’ experience in facilitating learning and teaching in Tourism at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at a tertiary institution. Experience in supervising postgraduate research is essential as well as a record of journal publications.

In order to be considered for an appointment to a Lecturer post, the potential candidate must have a relevant, discipline-specific Masters’ degree in Tourism and 2 years’ experience in facilitating learning and teaching in Tourism at undergraduate and postgraduate level at a tertiary institution. Experience in supervising research and a record of journal publications is a requirement.
