CORE PURPOSE OF JOB |
To facilitate the learning process for undergraduate and postgraduate students intending to become radiographers. |
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS |
- Facilitate the teaching and learning of undergraduate and postgraduate radiography students.
- Conduct clinical teaching and assessment at accredited training facilities.
- Perform academic administrative duties.
- Facilitate academic engagement.
- Participate in research activities in the department.

CORE COMPETENCIES |
- In-depth knowledge of the theory and practice of Diagnostic Radiography.
- Experience of clinical radiographic teaching and assessment.
- Experience in teaching academic radiographic modules.
- Strong skills in dealing with people at all levels.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office.

REQUIREMENTS |
To be considered for the appointment to this post, candidates must have:
- A Master’s degree in Radiography or equivalent
|
- Two years clinical experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and lecturing experience will be a strong advantage.
- Current registration as a Radiographer with the HPCSA.
- Proven record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- PhD registration an advantage.
