LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The successful incumbent must comply with the following criteria:

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:  

• Must possess a matric certificate or equivalent
• Must possess a National Diploma in Human Resource Management  or equivalent
• Must possess a valid OETDP certificate
• Knowledge of the Sawmill Industry will be advantageous
• Must have 3 year’s experience as a qualified training officer in a similar environment
• Must be computer literate in Microsoft Packages
• Must have previous exposure of an ERP system
• Must be knowledgeable of SAQA, QTCO, SDA and the SETA structures
• Must be knowledgeable of the BBBEE codes and the EEA
• Must have a valid driver’s licence

PERSON REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have the ability to work  and communicate with various stakeholders
• Must have a high level of commitment to accuracy, quality,attention to detail and be methodical
• Must be able to work without supervision
• Must be result orientated and keep the training records up to date
• Must possess ability to initiate, have energy and be driven
• Must be an individual that is service orientated and be able to handle pressure
• Must be a person of integrity

• Good problem-solving skills
