POSITION INFO:

Lead UX Designer - become an integral part of driving this progressive organisation through a period of digital transformation.

The Role:
A brand-new role that will shape the future of this organisation who are currently undergoing a huge digital transformation to take a more design lead approach.
You will be given the opportunity not only to shape your own path but the path of the organisation in relation to UX. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will work closely with the development team on anything from web applications to large scale member portals essentially shaping the digital future of the business.

Your New Company:
A well-established, not for profit, household name made up of passionate people who have their sport and their user at the heart of everything they do!
They have more than one major programme of work going on at the moment and the good news, they are all focused on being design led. More than happy to chat through some of these in more detail before you apply.

You:

Obviously, you''ll be an experienced UX Designer who loves to build prototypes, facilitating workshops and ideation sessions and conducting user research. As well as being confident producing sketches and story boards and going through the whole wireframing process.
A wee bonus would be a bit of experience across front end web design, so HTML and CSS.
In terms of design tools - they are very much looking for you to influence these kinds of decisions, but the obvious ones like Sketch, Axure and a big focus on Human Centred Design.
You should have an awareness of digital inclusion and how best to incorporate this into you designs. You will work closely with all aspects of the business and help to articulate the shift in their ways of working.

Salary & Interview Process:

We have a rough range of £40,000 - £45,000 for this role depending on experience, with a range of benefits on top of that.

The role is entirely remote, for now, but going forward they would like a mix of in office, at home working. Some things, ie workshops, are better in person but outside of that - it''s pretty much up to you!
The interview process is straight forward. A one-hour formal interview, with some examples of your work, with the Head of Design and IT.
If you''d like some more information on this role, please get in touch with Danielle Carter at Cathcart Associates.
