SUMMARY:
Our client a company specialising in the field of logistics is currently recruiting a Lead Software Tester that will be required to use software test methodologies to execute and write system functional test plans, strategies, and test cases to test the solutions developed by the company and to drive test the automation process of South Africa, based in the Easter region of Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT
3 years working experience in software testing
Possess leadership skills.
Have advanced knowledge of software testing theories and practices
Demonstrate test automation experience and skills
Ability to write SQL statements in order to query databases and validate data on the back-end.
A good comprehension of the software development process
Must be familiar with development methodologies
Must have working experience in an agile environment
Good writing skills (for the purposes of documentation of process)

Duties:

Supervise team of software testers.
Software requirements review.
Test automation implementation.
Test cases preparations.
Test executions.
Defect reporting.
Test reports preparations.
Release notes documentation.
SOP’s and user manuals documenting.
Drive continues integration.
