A technology company in Glasgow are seeking a Lead/Senior Front End Developer to join their team. They''ve already shed their ''Start-Up'' skin and have built a global customer base and now have a focus to enhance their Cloud based SaaS product. After some internal promotions, they are looking to backfill the Lead/Senior Front End Developer position.
About you:
You will be an experienced Front End Developer that has been working at Senior level in your current role. They are really keen for someone to come in and really take ownership of the Front End of their product, so ideally, you''ll have experience of this or would be confident in picking this up.
The product''s UI is built in JavaScript with Vue.js as their Front End framework. With this, it would obviously be beneficial if you have experience working with Vue.js as you would be able to come in and hit the ground running. They can be flexible on this though so if you''ve got experience working with other Front End JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, and you''d be fine to retrain in Vue.js, then this could be the role for you!
About the team:
The team is pretty small at the moment but with the planned global expansion, it''s a great time to be joining. They have ambitious growth plans so within 6 months or so, you''ll be involved in hiring for more Front End Developers for your team, which is super exciting!
You''ll be working in a team of Full Stack Developers, Back End Developers & DevOps Engineers which will soon add Designers, Testers, Project Managers and more. It really is a great time to get your foot in the door and be part of a company on the rise.
What they can offer you:
You''ll probably want to know this before applying. The budgeted salary for the role is £55,000 but they could potentially go above this for the perfect candidate.
They recently renovated their offices in Glasgow City Centre which makes it a great place to work for Developers. The technical team actually have their own room as well, so you''ll be able to work away without being disturbed. They are taking a flexible approach to home working for when things go back to normal and can offer 2/3 days of home working per week.
