To provide technical and advisory services, to the Supply Management Division within Currency Management Department (CMD) of the company, on cash supply chain standards, processes, procedures, technologies, systems and solutions

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide strategic input into the long-term cash operations and policy needs of the cash supply chain.
Develop, maintain and continually improve a sustainable cash operations framework to ensure optimal functioning of specialised equipment and introduction of fit-for purpose designs and layouts at the cash centres.
Act as cash operations specialist and subject matter expert representative providing advice and guidance to shape the design and layout at the cash centres and depot.
Review and analyse the performance of cash supply chain standards, processes, procedures, technologies, systems and solutions, and also make recommendations for improvements in the interest of improving production.
Research, analyse and benchmark cash supply chain standards, processes, procedures, solutions and technologies, and also provide recommendations to internal and external cash industry stakeholders.
Align the proposed recommendations to local expertise and ensure availability of support for future maintenance of solutions and infrastructure currently operational at the company.
Drive optimisation and development of the cash supply chain standards, processes, procedures, technologies, systems and solutions, and provide input as a cash supply chain and subject matter expert.
Guide the implementation and integration of new and refined cash supply chain standards, processes, procedures, technologies, systems and solutions in the cash value chain.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor degree (NQF 7) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification.
8â10 years’ experience in innovating supply chain operations.
