SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a Laboratory Assistant with a matric certificate and 1 year of experience in a technical environment.
This is a one month temp assignment to start immediately.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications, skills and experience:
A minimum of grade twelve with at least one year technical experience.
Attention to detail;
Aptitude for technical and maintenance work;
Good communication

Responsibilities:
Assist fellow employees in other areas of the laboratory when required
Provide support to technical staff
Proper storage and sorting of samples in the receiving area
Ensure accuracy of information supplied on test application form
Split and remove white metal collars and remove white metal flashing from specimens
Transporting specimens from one station to the next in the laboratory
Housekeeping in area of responsibility
Carry out detailed instructions or procedures which do not require high level of skills

Salary:
R40 per hour
