SUMMARY:
Chemical Engineering - Lab Technician

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for the operations of the laboratory daily and making limited decisions to ensure the continuity of production. Prepares test samples of raw materials and finished products and conducts prescribed physical and chemical analyses on samples. Generates reports on raw material and finished product samples as required. Participate in quality assurance activities related to the specific branch.

Qualifications & experience
• Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
• National Diploma /BSc in Analytical Chemistry
• Possession of a valid Code 08/EB driver’s license
• Not less than 5 Years’ experience in a similar position in a Feed milling environment
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word & Outlook
• Working of GMP, HACCP and ISO Quality systems would be an advantage.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills

• Relationship building and team leadership skills
• Computer skills (MS Office)
• Written communication skills
