Our client, a PQS Consulting Firm,  specializes on various of industries such as Retail, Commercial, Hospitality, Schools and Special projects, focusing on Quantity Surveying and Project Management.

Job Description

In this position you will be reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Your duties includes by not limited to:

• Run the project as the clients QS
• Cost management including setting up effective cost control and reporting systems, providing elemental analysis, estimates, detailed cost plans and regular budgetary reports
• Cost reports
• Preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ), trade bills, provisional bills, specified bills, schedules of rates and re-measurement of completed works
• Monthly valuations of works carried out on site, preparation of payment certificates, fee schedules, cashflows, progress payment summaries.

Scope of project/s:  Majority Retail, Residential & Commercial

Qualifications

• BTech, BSc or BSc Honours in QS
• SACQSP registration advantageous

Skills

• +3 years’ experience with PQS firm
• Win QS / Dim X / MS Office
