LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER

LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER – KUILSRIVER, CAPE TOWN – R6000.00
My client is looking for an experienced, honest, reliable, non-smoking, non-drinking live-in housekeeper to be part of their existing staff for their home. This is a full-time position that includes accommodation and all meals.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the house.
- Perform regular deep cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Change bed linens and towels as needed.
- Organise and tidy up living spaces.
- Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organised, including washing dishes and maintaining kitchen appliances.
- Assist with making the family meals.
Requirements:
- Must not be afraid of large dogs.
- Proven experience as a housekeeper working full time for a private family, preferably in a large residence or even a hotel setting.
- Must have good cooking skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Discretion and respect for privacy.
- Physical fitness and stamina for daily cleaning tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to the employer''s schedule.
- MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH AND AFRIKAANS – THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE!
