SUMMARY:
Sales of laboratory equipment and related products to the life science industry in the Western Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

  • Responsible for sales, application training and method development for the products they oversee.
  • Coordinate with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
  • Submit reports on your sales activity regularly into the company’s CRM software.
  • Coordinate with the accounts receivable department to ensure that all invoices are paid in full in a timely manner by your customers.
  • Visit customers according to sales and customer strategy.
  • Effectively following up and concluding long term high value projects.
  • Minor installations of equipment
  • Other duties:
    • Business Development
    • Business Administration
    • Sales and Marketing of Product Portfolio
    • Customer Service

 

Qualifications and experience:

  • Life Science qualification
  • At least 2 years previous sales experience
  • Typical clients: Food labs, general manufacturing labs, and medical research labs
  • Own a car with a valid driver’s license
  • Area of responsibility: Cape Town and Western Coast region
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
