SUMMARY:
L & D Coordinator required to work for with the Learning & Development Manager to ensure that all training activities are well managed and coordinated.

POSITION INFO:

TRAINING PROGRAMMES

  • Co-ordinate and manage delegate lists
  • Communicate information and dates for Inductions and Academies to all relevant parties (managers, attendees etc)
  • Coordinating room bookings for training courses
  • Book accommodation or travel for attendees
  • Maintain attendance records
  • Printing training manuals
  • Update training manuals as required
  • Purchasing stationery and training materials
  • Collect feedback on training courses delivered through Survey Monkey

LEARNING PLATFORM

  • Management of users on Go1 learning platform
  • Adding new employees to Go1 learning platform and removing leavers
  • Enrolling learners onto relevant courses
  • Monitor and report on learner progress, producing reports of activity
  • Upload new content for MCG learning portal as required.

PRESENTATIONS

  • Prepare presentations for training programmes
  • Update existing presentation material when necessary

TRAINING PROJECTS

Work with Learning & Development Manager on any projects or initiatives, which are introduced to support the company’s Business Plan.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION & AD HOC DUTIES

  • Be first point of contact for any training related enquiries
  • Assist the L&D Manager with coordinating training material
  • Ensure training materials and up to date and fit for purpose

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

ESSENTIAL:

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Can demonstrate problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build effective relationships with line managers and employees at all levels of the business.
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional, confident and ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Able to work as a team and in a stand alone capacity
  • A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise to achieve deadlines
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidentially at all times

DESIRABLE:

  • Experience of working in a recruitment environment
  • Previous experience in coordinating training or other events
