LADLE CRANE OPERATOR (8 POSITIONS)

POSITION INFO:

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge in Operating Electrically Operated Over Head Cranes of Higher Capacity
• Knowledge in Handling 35 Ton High Temperature Liquid Steel in Ladle from Furnace to Continue Casting Machine with Precise Operational ability and control
• Knowledge in Refurnacing the liquid metal into the furnace in a controlled manner
• Knowledge in Tilting the Ladle for De-slagging and Lance cleaning
• Knowledge in Tilting and Handling Tundish and Ladle activity with crane
• Knowledge in Erection/Removal/Fitting of heavy-duty machines using the cranes with precise operational ability and control in Furnace and CCM
• Knowledge in Continuous Scrap lifting to the furnace floor
• Knowledge in identifying the break downs and informing to maintenance departments and Safe Work Practices

 Qualification and Experience:

 

•  Matric
• 6 Years work experience and knowledge in Operating the 65 Ton Electrically Over Head Operating Cranes
• Communication skills
