POSITION INFO:

Kitchen Manager | JHB – Birdhaven | Grocer – Deli – Restaurant

We are currently looking for an Experienced KITCHEN MANAGER to fill this exciting yet challenging position of managing a Restaurant, with a Grocery and Deli department.

The establishment consist of a Sunny outdoor restaurant with a must-try-everything menu, a specialized Grocer store with and interesting range of products, a Deli, Bakery facility with a temping selection of fresh baked goods and a Coffee Bar and Roastery

Skills and Experience required for the Kitchen Manager:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Kitchen Manager in a Franchise environment
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests.
• Leading & directing the team in order to meet targets, such as food cost, profit, quality control and strict hygiene standards
• Must be able to coordinate and manage a busy kitchen operation.
• Proactively taking appropriate action when required – be solutions driven
• To efficiently manage & control all operational activities, including expenses, stock management, shrinkage, general housekeeping and administration.
• Assist in the management of the strategic and day to day operations of the operation
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Must be a system driven individual

Start: ASAP

Salary package

• R15 000 CTC, slightly negotiable
