SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a candidate who is dogmatic and passionate about retaining and winning new business coupled with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Transport / Logistics Services sector.

POSITION INFO:

You will be required to provide customers with the main point of contact for managing, controlling, and maintaining key customers for retention, growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor''''s Degree in an appropriate field of study and equivalent work experience
5 – 10 years in an Operations/logistics position
Experience in dealing with Suppliers/Clients
Client Billing Experience
Advanced Budget and ABC Costing experience
Advanced knowledge of Routing, WMS, Qlikview, and Supply Chain processes
Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook) Advanced Computer Skills
Must have the ability to analyse situations
Must have a practical approach to problem-solving
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Interpersonal and management skills
Strategic thinking
Excellent Customer Service Skills

Key Result Areas:

Implement and manage Client monthly reviews
Introduce scorecard per client
Implement electronic scorecards
Assist/Cost New accounts
Implement and ensure the cost to serve models are being adhered to
Ensure all billings and associated costs are accounted for
Sign off review information and billing data
Monthly P&L KPI by client measured against costing model data
Implement Non-conformance monthly report
Implement and manage cost vs efficiency reduction initiatives
Strong customer interaction
