Key Accounts Manager (Short Term Insurance - Community Schemes)

SUMMARY:
An energetic, dynamic Senior Key Accounts Manager is required for a company that offer a short term insurance service to various entities, including community schemes. The necessary professional insurance qualifications with at least 5 years experience in short term insurance sales (community schemes) is essential.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose: To grow and expand market presence in the Community Schemes division.

Responsibilities

Achieve new business targets by identifying opportunities in the local Community Schemes market

Develop and maintain good working relationships with Managing Agents, Brokers, Building Managers, Asset Managers, Trustees, Policyholders, NAMA and other industry bodies

Introduce new products and services and promote them through regular visits and communications

Increase the profitability of business through sound risk management

Provide training on bespoke technology and encourage uptake and usag

Deliver exceptional customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns and liaising with claims and underwriting departments when required

Liaise with colleagues to keep up to date with internal developments

Keep up to date with current market conditions and competitor products

Monitor and report on performance against sales targets

Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by the FSCA and keep up to date with all changes in the regulatory framework

Work with underwriters to amend policies where necessary

Produce marketing literature and ideas for campaigns

Requirements:

RE qualified

NQF4 FAIS qualification

Preferred B.com degree

Minimum 5 years insurance sales experience with proven track record

Sectional title / community schemes experience

Must be available to work after normal office hours when required
