Key Account Manager - Insurance

POSITION INFO:

Key Account Manager – Insurance AA/EE - JHB

Key Account Manager to develop and promote relationships with the Insurance Channel. This position is Gauteng based. A self-starter with an outgoing personality who can communicate confidently on all levels.

Minimum requirements :

Matric
4-6 years’ experience within Short Term Insurance industry.
Knowledge of the vehicle tracking industry will be a distinct advantage
Management experience would be advantageous.
Degree or Diploma will be advantageous.
MS office.
Insurance accreditation advantageous.
Project Management skills.
Strong financial understanding.
Strategic thinking ability.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Excellent relationship builder.
Results and action orientated.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance intermediary business relationships.
Identify new business & future opportunities.
New product development.
Identify & Analyse business actions & processes.
Implement business processes and strategies.
Manage and attend business promotions and functions.
Strategy planning for partners to increase business.
Large account management.
Manage processes and implementation.
Maintain financial analysis in terms of projected budgets.
Manage technical aspects of business including scheduling of fitments.
Set up and agree service level agreements. (Internal & External).
Identify training needs within clients’ company.
Identify training needs within Tracker.
Embark on customer research and identify the gaps.
Maintain relationships with client at all levels.
Compile accurate statistical information.
Reach set targets.
Manage & support staff (direct reports where applicable).
