SUMMARY:
Key Account Manager urgently required for a Rental company in Kathu - Northern Cape.
POSITION INFO:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES:
- Good understanding of sales and rentals
- Modular units / construction product knowledge
- Market Intelligence
- Cost Control
- Must be able to use MS Office package
- Good sales and communication skills
- Energetic, target driven and adaptable
- Competent in administrative tasks (i.e. doing quotations, weekly sales reporting and lease agreement)
- Valid driver’s license
- Self-Starter
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 years relevant experience
- Successful track record in achieving targets
- Report writing and previous experience using and ERP system
- Ability to read construction drawings
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Diploma / Degree in Marketing or Sales
Key Responsibilities
• Achieve agreed profitability targets
• Actively look for and create new business opportunities within the market
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with current and future customers
• Provide after sales service and regular entertainment of customers
• Achieve agreed customer visits
• Establish and maintain a healthy prospect pipeline
• Conduct market and competitor analysis
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of inquiries, quotes and tenders
• Loading of Rental orders on the ERP system
• Assists accounts personnel with collection of outstanding and overdue payments
• Timely and accurate completion of weekly / monthly reports
• Compliance to all reasonable instructions
