Key Account Manager Automotive Industry

POSITION INFO:

Managed People Solutions is looking to hire an experienced Key Account Manager (OEM) for a Global Tyre Manufacturing Company based in Johannesburg

The Company was established in 1967. They operate throughout the country and stock a wide variety of passenger and two-wheel tyre brands. Their stores are modern, clean, and inviting – it is the perfect place to have your wheels checked, fitted, balanced, or aligned

There is a definite opportunity for growth in the company whereby the Key Account Manager can be promoted into a Management position within 6 to 8 months

Responsibilities:

Develop and sustain solid relationships with corporate clients
Address and resolve key clients’ complaints
Acting as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams
Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales, or related field
Automotive or similar industry
Proven experience in key account management
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software
The ability to build rapport with key clients
The ability to handle multiple client accounts
Strong negotiation and leadership skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Must be flexible
Must be able to work under pressure
Must be a strategic thinker
