First point of contact for client

Sourcing of product according to customer brief/specs

Costing sheets in Excel – FOB pricing, shipping factors, duties

Quoting customer $/ZAR pricing of product/ranges

Cost negotiations, calculating profit margins, calculating budgets based on forecasts

Listing of new items

Checking PO’s have correct qty, price and delivery date

Sending of samples, following up on approvals/comments

Uploading inspection reports, test reports and images to portals

Uploading Declared Shipment Quantities onto portal per item

Following up and receiving customer forecasts

Monitoring stock levels in Syspro, ensuring stock is ordered and delivered on time

Ensuring customer orders get processed so deliveries can be made on time

Calculating deal pricing and presenting deals

Sending and implementation of price increases/changes

Assisting where necessary with delivery bookings

Supplier – Overall product management

Sourcing of product – according to briefs, but also new product

Requesting pricing from factory

Cost negotiations with factory

Checking MOQ’s and order configuration for FCL/ shipment consolidations

Product development – materials, colours, coatings, prints, packaging

Requesting Proforma invoices, creating briefsheet/spec sheet per item, backstamps, shipping marks

Ensuring PO’s are correct re price, qty, specs, delivery dates before sending to factory

Following up on deposit payments

Sampling process – development samples, pre-production samples, pre-shipment samples

Following up on sampling time

Internal QC of product and labelling before sending to customer

Sending through sample approvals/comments/changes to factory

Ensuring production commences on time

Ordering price tickets

QC/Inspection reports – checking inspection reports of production

Double checking packing lists and invoices

Sending through approvals and authorizations to ship to factory

Following up on shipment time, ETA

Additional

Sort out returns queries, damages, replacements, product issues

Opening of parcels/preparing of parcels, packaging, waybills

Stock takes
