SUMMARY:
Do you have 5 years experience as a Key Account Manager working with distributors within the Safety Wear / Safety Products industry? Our client requires your expertise to join their successful sales team to manage and grow their client portfolios. Your high standard of professionalism and customer service is what will make you the ideal candidate.

REQUIREMENTS

Matric

Driver’s licence and own vehicle

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a sales representative

Excellent negotiation skills

Strong Interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent Time Management

Competent on computer software

 

DUTIES

Responsible for marketing products while ensuring that a high standard of professionalism and service is provided for both distributors and the end user.

Visit client base as per management agreed call cycle recording pipeline future business knowledge.

Interact with distributors to provide information in response to product enquiries & services. Closing of Sales deals.

Ensuring the allocated sales budget is achieved each month, analyse sales vs budget.

Ensure product quality, market sector and product development information is relayed and recorded.

Drive growth through developing existing distributors & identify end user sales opportunities.

Report on competitor’s activity as well as market trends and new business opportunities.

Conduct customer research through data sources with annual reports, quarterly reports, internal publications, brochures, newsletters etc.

Provide input into product development.

Manage customer development to achieve positive growth.

Pro-actively understand how their customers do business.

Find ways to add to their business strategies with strategic solutions.

Continuously review customer performance vs market potential.

Analyse customer profiles and profitability and give feedback to customers.

Sort out and follow up on customers’ operation issues to improve the level of service.

Resolve any customer queries/ pricing problems and manage customer expectations.

Monitor logistics pertaining to all factory faults and claims received from customers.

New production launches and control promotional activities

Set up demo’s, displays and ensure that stock availability is achieved

Support special events/road shows with stock and promotional material when required.

Implement, monitor, and advise customers of current pricing parameters.

Organize community involvement programs, fund-raisers etc.

 

Salary: Basic plus car allowance, Medical Aid, Provident Fund and Commission, dependent on experience
