SUMMARY:
Our dynamic client specializing in the retail visual field needs to employ a Key Account Executive (New Business) in a permanent position.
The company is based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The person needs to have a solid understanding of the retail visual industry.

The Key Account Executive is to align the company’s goals and strategies to acquire new customers with ambition and passion to achieve high results in order to maximize revenue and profit for the enterprise services.

Duties:
Create detailed sales business plans.
Set and manage sales goals and quotas.
Manage the entire sales cycle.
Assist in finding prospects and leads.
Identify new sales opportunities.
Build strong client relationships.
Identify opportunities to up-see and cross-sell.
Provide customer support when needed.
Learn new product and service features and benefits.
Provide professional after-sales support.
Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
Prepare and present reports on KPI's.
Brief sample department on various samples required, check design/drawings to fit client brief before samples are manufactured.
Forecasting weekly, monthly, and annual sales.
Coordinating with the sample & design departments to resolve any issues to ensure the sample is exactly as per clients' requests.
Closing customer sales and generating new sales.
Attending Retail Expos to educate yourself and customers about the company’s products or services.
Communicating with clients to understand their needs and product information.
Evaluating opportunities to enhance sales, customer satisfaction, and retention.
You will act as a liaison between our sales team and our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements
:
As an account executive, you should showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills.
You should act proactively to address clients’ needs and facilitate the sale process from beginning to end.
Ultimately, you should contribute to an increase in sales and maintain our company-client relationships at a high standard.
At least 10 years of sales experience in the retail industry, more in particular the visual marketing side of it.
You must have an impeccable sense of professional conduct and a matching dress code.
Absolute proficiency in verbal as well as written English is not negotiable.
Driver's license required.
