POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Key Account Executive – Product Specialist (Cost Consultant Fee Discounting)

Cape Town OR Johannesburg based. Hybrid Role: Home office and travel based with regular in-person meetings across major cities

Summary:

To lead the national adoption and growth of the Cost Consultant Fee Discounting product. This role focuses on engaging legal cost consultants and attorneys, training internal teams, managing high-value relationships, and supporting product success across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Identify and engage legal cost consultants and attorney firms nationwide.

• Present product offerings and build strong client relationships.

• Act as the subject matter expert for Cost Consultant Fee Discounting.

• Train internal sales teams on product features and processes.

• Support onboarding of clients and manage transaction details.

• Maintain and monitor a national pipeline of discounting deals.

• Ensure accurate CRM record-keeping of deals and client interactions.

• Collaborate with marketing on events, webinars, and campaigns.

• Represent the company at industry forums and events.

• Provide client feedback to improve the product and user experience.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal finance, legal sales, or related fields.

• Strong network within the legal industry, especially among cost consultants.

• Experience in bridging finance or working capital products preferred.

• Proven ability to manage technical products and high-value client accounts.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and across departments.

• Deep understanding of legal billing and litigation finance.

• Organised and capable of managing a national client base.

• Entrepreneurial and proactive approach.

• Professional presence in legal environments.

Working Conditions:
