POSITION INFO:

Our Client based in Middelburg needs a Junior Workshop Manager to join their team in Durban.

Role:

• The ideal applicant will be responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the Branch.

Requirements:

• 2-5 Years Workshop Manager''''s experience.
• Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contract Management Software.
• Excellent Organisational Skills - Accurate record keeping.
• Experience in Electric Motors will be advantageous.
• Technical Knowledge and customer focussed.

You will be responsible for:

• Stock Management: Responsible for stock integrity as well as the accuracy of the Operating System data, report stock discrepancies. Investigate lost/missing and wrong received stock. Determine and maintain min and max levels within the Branch. Examining and inspecting stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damages to Head Office.
• Dispatch: Orders to be picked and dispatch accurately and timeously. Review deliveries to select the correct route, based on the destination, motor size, customer time requirements as well as other needs for each delivery address. Control driver, truck, and route productivity by ensuring that each truck carries a full load. Schedule Loads efficiently and effectively.
• Breakdowns and deliveries: Provide after hour support to Customers and Sales Representatives. Attend to Breakdowns during afterhours and weekends.
• General Housekeeping: Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Assist with the upkeeping of the building, reporting of faulty equipment to ensure it is fixed timeously. Security - Ensure building is opened, secured and locked up.

Position might require out of town travel

Salary to offer R15 000 (Negotiable, depending on experience)

Company offers: Medical Aid Contribution of 50%, Pension Fund of 10.8% and 13 Cheque (Depending on Performances)
