SUMMARY:
The primary objective in this role is to comply with all mandatory requirements, manage internal and external customers and deliver excellent customer service. Your role is to support, advise and direct the business in all aspects of customer service that could lead the business to high levels of customer retention

POSITION INFO:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Performance Area	Performance Outputs
Operational	Trading on horse racing events Laying of bets to Private clients Odds making for Greyhound Responsible for pricing up horse racing centres on a daily basis (Odds making) Performance Standards Ensuring odds are correct and competitive at all times and in all centres Responsible for closing of events timeously Keeping track of staff shortages (incorrect bets taken) and reporting it to senior management for processing Performance Standards Providing an excellent, good quality customer service at all times. Ensuring that your workplace is clean and presentable Ensure customers are aware of all bet types in order to increase customer satisfaction Ensure communication skills are good in order to provide information to customers clearly and concisely Performance Standards Ensuring all staff adhere to the code of conduct Ensuring that breach in policy is reported to the Senior Management/Operations Performance Standards Make recommendations and suggestions of advertising/marketing opportunities to the Marketing Department Make recommendations on how to increase clientele

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
Certificate in relevant field is advantageous
Knowledge of Turfsport software essential
Previous experience in a similar environment/position is advantageous
