The Role
Working in a highly technical team of around 25, the role will involve joining an established testing team. The role will be based alongside the development and delivery teams, and testing is integrated from the start to ensure that the end product is of high quality, rather than being something just tacked on the end of the development process.
The role will focus mostly on manual testing for both internal and external projects, so there will always be a variety of different things to get stuck into! The team are keen to implement automated testing long-term so any experience in this area, or passion to get stuck into it would be welcomed too!
You
You''ll have experience in manual testing role, with knowledge of SQL, and creating SQL queries, as well as carrying out API testing using tools like Postman.
You''ll have most of the following skills/experience:
** Agile environment
** Manual testing experience - functional, integration, regression
** Experience testing web-based applications
** Create and manage test plans
** Ensure that the security practices are followed
** SQL and creating SQL queries
Salary and Location
Based close to the city centre of Glasgow, the offices are commutable via car or public transport and are also walking distance from both train stations. They can also offer mostly remote working, with the occasional day in the office (once every few weeks).
The company are able to offer a salary of between £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience with a strong range of benefits on offer as well with everything from a gym membership to personalised training programmes.
