SUMMARY:
A well-known Lube Additive Company requires the above to manage Manufacturing / Blending Key Accounts increasing sales within the lubricants, energy and related industries for the Company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:
  • A tertiary qualification in either Mechanical or Chemical or Industrial Engineering or a related qualification is preferred but not essential for this role.
  • Previous technical or sales experience working with lubricant or fuel or refinery additives or related products within the petrochemical or mining or related industrial markets is preferred.
  • The Company is happy to train an Engineering or Sciences Graduate into this role as long as the person has the confidence to visit an existing portfolio of Customers.
  • The Company is also happy to look at someone with internal sales experience who would like to move into an external sales role.
  • The Company will consider a Tribologist or related position who has been in a technical advisory role working for a petrochemical company for the role.
  • Must be computer literate with good Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of lubricant and oil to business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) segments is preferred but not essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Developing relationships with existing international and independent lube / oil blending Key Customers within the lube oil additives and petrochemical industries.
  • Ensuring and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identifying customer needs and troubleshooting and advising on product ranges for various markets.
  • Driving opportunities in agreement with the commercial business strategy, the market, category and portfolio.
  • Driving the development of operational and strategic plans jointly with the customer.
  • Driving closure of long-term sales contracts and KPIs.
  • Pro-actively driving resolution of customer issues.
  • Ensuring accurate sales forecasts and a coherent implementation of commercial conditions in all markets and the solving of potential conflicts.
  • Supervising the customer performances at all levels.
  • Driving the development plans of customers within the region.
  • Regularly encouraging top level customers to identify opportunities within the region.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
