SUMMARY:
Our client in the Cape Town City bowl, has extensive experience in network design and support of multi-protocol and multi-vendor networks. They currently have vacancies for Junior Technical Desktop Engineers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary function of the position is to support call center agents with all their technical requirements.

These include:

Relocate Computers, deploy and setup Computers where needed within the call center.
Keep track of tickets and communicate effectively with team and on in-house ticketing system.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
Providing basic training in computer operation and management.
Completing job reports.

Requirements:

Must have a Valid Matric Certificate
Must have Clear Criminal and ITC records
Must be a South African citizen with a Valid SA ID
At least 2 contactable references from Prior places of employment
A+ and N+ or equivalent.
