SUMMARY:
Junior Site Agent required for Residential Building projects in the Paarl area

POSITION INFO:

Education required: National Diploma Building or B.Tech or B.Sc Building

Experience required: 3 to 5 years experience as Site Engineer on building projects

Duties:

  • Management, costing and general project administration
  • Working hand in hand with structural engineers and delivering quality work by managing foreman and sub-contractors
  • Programme: Sequence of works on concrete and signing off structural elements with structural engineer before casting
  • Managing brickwork, first and second fix plumbing and electrical points, plaster, waterproofing, and installation of window frames, under floor heating
  • Setting out of piles, bases, columns and brickwork
  • Managing casting of superstructure and signing off rebar with RE
  • Ordering steel and building materials
